• Congratulations! to Wayne Gober from Shawnee, OK who finished first as the winner of the Tournament and our 2013 District 8 Champion and 2013 Oklahoma State Champion.  

• Congratulations!  to CM Albert Tucker from Minden, LA who finished in second place.

• Congratulations!  to Ed King of Graham, TX who finished in third place and recognized as the 2013 Texas State Champion.

• Wayne Gober reported the results Sat, Jun 8, 2013 at 11:35 PM via email.  “This was a 7 round (Round Robin) Tournament using the 156 3-Move Ballot Deck.  After we finished the 5th round, we could not find any way to have all fresh parings and realized why we should have paired all rounds at the start. We paired at random for the first 5 rounds. So Wayne and Ed had to sit out round 6 which caused us to have to add an extra round and give everybody a respective bye. We gave a Null for the bye so as not to alter the points. The scoresheet shouldn't be too confusing now.”
• GM  stands for Grand Master,  IM for International Master, and CM for Candidate Master, which are earned titles given by WCDF to distinguish accomplished players.

• "T" separates player's opponent from player's accumulated game points.  Draw is 1, Win is 2 points,  Bye is 3, and Forfeit is 4. (in this case Bye is 0 since everyone got a Bye)

• The tournament entry fee of $20 was collected at registration, and it was announced the individual players were responsible to buy their ACF membership.
• We want to thank Mrs. Faye Mounger, our District 8 manager for her sponsor/directorship of this tournament.  Faye has done a great job since she took over the TX/D8 in 2007.  We also want to thank Hugh and Judy Hawkins and all the others who helped with the tournament and providing the delicious lunch both days.
